We Are Advocate. We Help Creators Succeed.
Hey, everyone!
It’s Deric from Advocate, and I know what you’re thinking - what the hell is Advocate? That’s my fault - we’ve been heads down on making the best product we can and we haven’t been sharing as much as we should. That changes this year.
Last year we hit a milestone that is central to our core belief - that everyone should be able to do what they love. Since I started running barcrafts in DC, I’ve always been focused on providing opportunities for anyone seeking to find success in gaming. I was privileged enough to consult with brands like GEICO and T-Mobile when they entered the gaming space, and those experiences helped me develop the concept for Advocate - a technology aimed at providing tools and opportunities for passionate people to find success more predictably.
Anyway, back to this milestone - we’ve recently worked with approximately 50ish small-to-medium streamers to carry out several paid-marketing campaigns. Based on their size and time streaming, creators with audiences starting at 200 viewers earned, on average, an extra $15 more per hour when they streamed. We believe this means that even creators half that size can earn a livable wage streaming full-time. This is the first step in our mission of making stability, security, and success easier to reach for the creators who want it. If you’re a creator and this sounds good to you, find out more about us here.
Earlier in 2019, our team quietly focused on helping esport clients manage and report their sponsorship obligations. We saved them time through seamless campaign management and gave them support with unparalleled reporting. You can find out how we work with teams and agencies here.
Moving into 2020 I feel more energized than ever to keep growing this awesome community and the technology that makes their hard work pay off. If you’re a brand and you’re looking to participate in gaming communities while supporting those communities in real and meaningful ways, please explore how we can help here .
Finally, Advocate is a small team and we didn’t get here alone. A big reason gaming has thrived is because we help each other. We’ve had a ton of support from the gaming community over these past two years. Many thanks to all the people who have helped us along the way.
