New Moderation Feature - Compliance

Hey, everyone! It’s Deric again! I just wanted to quickly talk about a newly released moderation tool that we’re excited about called Compliance. We know how time-consuming it can be to verify that each broadcaster you work with has the right, up-to-date images on their channels. So, we created a tool that provides automated image recognition over Twitch and Twitter that checks if the team, sponsor, or brand logo is correct!

When you create a new broadcaster action, you’ll see a panel created with the names of each broadcaster you work with and a light next to their name that starts as red. As broadcasters complete newly added broadcaster actions, you’ll see those lights turn green.

A broadcaster ‘goes green’ with each banner graphic image if the correct image and URL is present on their Twitch channel. If a player used a non-advocate branded link, used another player’s link, or used a different image than the one provided, then they’ll stay red in the moderation dashboard.

We made it easy to click into the streams of anyone that shows red so you can see what’s going on. Most times, the image is changed slightly, but acceptable. In these instances, you can manually set a broadcaster to green yourself, and their light will remain green so long as the image remains unchanged. You can see this on the Gyazo below!

Advocate makes working with any number of broadcasters easy. We designed our tools to allow managers to do more with their day. If you would like a demo, take a look at our Brand and Team pages and reach out!
